Time to pick her up....

After 2.5 weeks of waiting, I am off to go get my 7 from the paint shop! Will post pics when I get back from vacation on monday. It sucks that I am getting my car back at 3:00 and leaving for vacation at 3:30. Oh well.

Before you put it back together have you considered painting the rub strips to match? That silver is hot on rx-7's especially when the strips are body matched..IMO

the avatar was during a mmo treatment. car is relatively stock. rb streetable header and partial rats nest removal. Primary intake runners are ridged secondary runners are polished. Air flap removed from filter box. Electric fan. etc. I removed the trim from the car first, and attempted to fix some of the rust, realized that I had no idea what I was doin and payed for someone else to do it. They did a really good job for the most part, but nothing in life is completely perfect.

Thanks RRtec. I really lucked out with this car, my step father gave it to me 2 years ago. He had let his son drive it for a couple of months and saw how he was treating it and took it from him. She has been garage kept all her life but got some cancer in the wheel wells anyway. Only 112,000 miles on her (thats less than my 95 s10)

Nice 7. You might look into replacing that radiator, the top looks real rusty.

Tis a new radiator. The seal was missing from the coolant level sensor for a while and it leaked and the paint peeled off. (that is brass showing)

I am pretty good friends with one of the guys at the shop. Hot antifreeze seems to be a good paint stripper. I use 50/50. I use plenty of acid, but not that kind.
