TII swap update (pics)

I got my motor back to my shop yesterday and I can not wait to drop it in.

It is a complete rebuild and ported, ported turbo, coated intake manifold, running a microtech. ACT street/strip clutch and lightweight flywheel. I am expecting about 350hp to the wheels.

This started as a jspec TII I bought from a importer in Miami and build done my Scott @ Mazsport.

As some of you know I bought another SE to drop this motor in and the running SE drivetrain will be out this weekend. (it is forsale)

umm, what does "ported turbo" mean to you? cause that doesnt make sense. or are you talking about a new compressor wheel with bigger front housing? if you are looking for 350rwhp out of a stock turbo of any hybrids make... good luck. it can be done, but you're pushing it. motor looks good!

Yea,you can get 300-350 FLYWHEEL hp from a hybrid if you push it,but definately not from a T18's compressor.
350 WHEEL horsepower is over 400 crank hp,youll need a full TO4 or better to get those numbers.A hybrid would have mucho trouble passing that much HP,the hotside is just too small.......
If you want more HP,at the very least get a S5 turbo on there.A S5 hybrid would be better. A full TO4 is best.

yea, the full bnr stage 4 or equivalent around 18psi could yield around 350rwhp. this guy has a stock turbo. he wont see much over 250rwhp. i agree he needs a full TO4

UPDATE:

Removed the old motor today and washed out the engine bay.
I found this cling wrap by 3M to protect my paint with.

I kicked some A$$ today:

Installed clutch release bearing and fork

Mounted trans on motor and mounts on both

Mounted Jacobs ing box

Mounted fuel press regulator

Installed new motor/trans

Installed driveshaft

Installed RB down pipe

It seems silly I was driving this car just yesterday morning................
