TII swap: Driveshaft question!

ok im doing the TII swap with the geabox into my 1 gen, i would like to know from the people who have done this swap what is the best way for the driveshaft??
so i have a s4 gearbox & the diff is lsd out of a s3, should i get a s4 & s3 driveshaft cut both them down to the right lenght, & make one out of two or what??

you have the right idea, you want the front part of a TII (S4 in your case) and rear part of the 1st gen (S3 in your case)
