Question TII rotor on a GSL-SE 13b FI engine

This is just a question. If I want to convert my GSL-SE 13B engine into turbo, is it possible to use a TII rotor on a GSL-SE 13b FI engine? If possible what else would I need? Where can I find more information?

Thank you,

Luism12lm

Sure, you need the appropriate front and rear weights for the rotors you use, S4 or S5 and 2mm apex seals. You have a PM too.

you'd need turbo end irons too unless for some reason you want to keep the wussy backpressure activated 6 ports...

actually there's no point trying to convert your 84-85 FI engine to turbo...1. you'd need an aftermarket ECU to be able to tune more fuel flow 2. the whole 6 port mess......mostly everyone just buys a JDM imported engine from a TII. Usually comes with engine, intake manifolds, injectors, wiring harness, turbo(s) and in some cases the transmission. In the 1st gen FAQ page there's a link to the whole TII swap How To

and one more thing.. keep the na rotors in the turbo motor! more power with less boost and a quicker spool. i love it to death. just make sure you have a good tune

True, the 6-ports suck, but using 12A end irons during the build solves that problem.

Thank you guys, I’ve been doing some research and you all right. Sound like is better to swap instead of convert.
