TII into a 12a car

TII into a 12a car
I have a few questions before I undergo this project. I understand a lot of work will be involved, so no need to fore warn me.
I am picking up either a 83 or 84 GS in the next week or so. I have read numerous threads on here regarding a TII swap, but they have all been into the GSL-SE. I was wondering if anyone has put one in a 12a car?
I can get a TII long block and 5spd as well as an ECU. What all is needed versus the GSL-SE swap.
