TII GSL-SE Swap question.

i have a TII motor ECU Wiring harness, AFM, and pressure sensor from an 87. now i have read alot of TII GSL-SE posts but none are really clear on the ignition set up or what to do to the ignition to make this thing run.

so my question is before i start this swap.

Can i use the dizzy? will it run ok?

and if not how to i swap is the FC coils without using the driverside harness from the 87?

Thanks
Marshall

The second TII swap is not as familiar to me, others might be able to help a little more but this should get the ball rolling.

I used a 2nd gen CAS, re-wired the drivers side with a S5 harness. Installed a MSD and used stock FC coils.

I would reccomend just taking the time and re-wire the drivers side.

what year fuel injection are you running.i have done this harness by using the 2nd gen driver side harness and stripping it out to only the few wires i need to run the coils and main relay, its pretty simple.i have one made for a 1st gen already to run the 89-91 fuel injection set up on it,all you would need is the engine harness and ecu for that same year.pm me for more info

once the harness is stripped down its a 3 wire hook up,12v battery,12v ignition, and ground, all other plug in to the stock coil igniters and relays.

For my swap the wiring was spidered into the factory harness. I am using the factory turbo II ignition.

You can see the wiring on the firewall. Like 10 wires there and thats it.
