TII Fuel system help

I need some suggestions on what fuel filters to run. I have a ported TII engine I just installed in my SA. E6k with 720/1600 combo. Running a gsl-se fuel tank. I'm going to run -8 braided line from tank to eng bay. I have a walrbo inline and trying to decide on what type (micron) filters I need. Would like it to be -8 fittings or 3/8 NPT.. what should i use?

Well unless you are looking to put down over 550 I would not go larger than 6AN. I have talked to quite a few people that say the 6AN lines are goo up until over 500. Not to mention that unless you are running 2 walbros you won't be able to produce that power. But if the line is already inplace than oh well, right?

I would go with what the pump reccomends. I placed two filters in my system. One pre-pump and one post pump. My aeromotive book reccomended this. They also said no less than a 100 micron filter was to be used. I picked up an Earls stainless for under 100. My line from the tank to the pump is 8AN and the pump to the rails is 6AN.

Yah i already have 20 ft of SS -8 braided line. My goal is 450 RWHP and over 500 RWHP at a later date and only want to run the line once.. Do you have any pics of you fuel filter installation locations? Going to install the line next Tuesday or so and wanted some ideas.. thanks for the info. What micron filters are you running for before and after pump? just wondering..

Ok, might as well go with that line then. I don't have and filter pictures. It is really simple, one prior to the pump. It is actually connected to the Aeromotive a1000. The other filter before the rail is just screwed into 2 opposing AN fittings.

Really easy to do. I cannot remember what the filter after the pump is but the one before the pump is a 100micron.

I am runing 8an with 6an return. If your run is to small it will over run the FPR as it can't dump the fuel fast enough. Meany builders sugest 8an to me over 400whp. So it is contraversied I personaly run 8an. As well my surge is 8an with 6an return I don't know what size your surge is gonzz but maybe check that.
