you could but it would kinda defeat the whole purpose of the intercooler

The only inercooler setup that workes well behind the radiator as far as I know is a V-mount set up. But to get that to work at it's most efficient you need a vented hood

I did a precision intercooler/turbo kit on a grand national. The intercooler mounts behind the rad but is sheilded and has a duct under the rad to collect air.

The FD might have its IC behind the radiator technically, but its not taking in hot air from behind the rad,it has its own cool air supply duct. The radiator is below, nearly horizontal.

If you literally stacked the IC behind the radiator, the IC would be completely heatsoaked all the time.Your intake temps would be horrendous and it would likely be worse than no IC at all, depending on the boost levels you ran.

Years ago, with the crappy stock TII intercooler eating 14psi,I saw peak intake temps in the 180-190's after some hard driving, and I always let off after that so it could drop back down to the 120's or so.The normal operating temp of the coolant is 180-190 degrees....... all the time.......which means the intake air is going to be critically hot all the time if you put the IC behind a hot radiator. With my front mount IC,I cannot get my intake temps over 120 no matter how much I push and boost.
