Ticking noise

When my car isn't on, key out and all and i remove the cable from the post there is a little spark there and when i touch the cable to the post there is also a little spark. And when i turn the key from lock to on, (ignition modes) there is a ticking sound and its coming from somewere under the car.. near the exhaust pipes or something

The fuel pump might not be working. When you turn the key to the on position the fuel pump should come on. Turn it on and go to the rear of the car, rear left tire. close to there you should here the pump. If nothing, pump is bad

Or the fuel pump which is probly right. Is it pretty loud and after about 5 sec cut out? cus then it most likly is the fuel pump.

Sounds like you have an electrical item drawing power from the battery. It cant be the fuel pump if the ignition is off and it still causes a spark. Do you have an after market alarm system installed?
