throttle screw

Looking for throttle screw on carb? What side is it on driver or passenger?

Dirvers (LHD). What year carb? The adj screws are different between 79-80 and 81-85.

It’s an 80. I’m idling to high. The throttle screw is what adjusts you idling, right? or is the idle speed screw, are they same thing?

The you have 2 screws one above the other and one is bigger. Big one is the idle air adjust screw and the smaller is the fuel adjust. They both look like big common (slotted) screwdriver screws.

which one adjusts rpms while idling? I read the sticky but it did not do anything for me.

They both do. Is everything else in good order? Setting idle is a bit trickier on those carbs cause one adjustment affects the other. Its not a straight forward adjustment. How high? What RPM are we talking about?

I'm idling at 1000rpms and was told 750 is were I want to be at.
