Throttle linkage for weber carb gsl-se

I have a 1985 rx7 gsl-se that I am in the process of installing a s5 motor with a weber 48ida carb. My question is what have you guys done with the throttle linkage for this type of setup. When I look at the throttle linkage on the carb it is on the alternator side of the motor or towards the front. The old intake setup required the linkage to connect towards the rear part of the engine.

Hey,

One of my friends gets batches made locally of some nice throttle brackets that are designed for IDA rotary applications.

Hit him up on instagram and see if he has some available right now. His IG is rxhead

Below is a picture of the one on my engine:

I will get better picture later when i get home, the one above is kinda dark.

Same! Also please post some details on your rad and rad shroud/cooling fan setup. Looks nice.

You may need to start off with an aftermarket throttle cable. My setup still uses the stock throttle cable on my 1982 FB 12A but that is because the Dell linkage is in a similar location.

I get a lot of parts fir my dellorto from https://www.dellorto.co.uk

I did alittle bit of research yesterday and found a previous post where a guy used a 12a throttle cable. I also found out that racing beat does sell a throttle linkage for the weber carb., I will keep you guys posted on once parts arrive.

Here are some pics of my throttle bracket. They kinda suck due to it being dark out.
