Unhappy Throttle cable placement.......

Well I am putting together an 85 GSL (My first engine swap) That a friend sold me and I don't know where exactly the throttle cable goes. I know the general location, but there are like three different places it can go. My haynes manuel doesn't say where it goes. It has a pic of the top of the carb and says, " disconect the throttle cable from the carb as shown...." But doesn't actually show anything. How gay is that? Well you guys are awsome, so I'm asking the best.
peace,
Charles
