painless is still painful, but its probably the best bet. I used the throttle bracket from the nikki for my weber, although Im going to be making my own out of the sheet metal we have laying around the shop as soon as I finish up my air assault school (anyone say "dope on a rope?"). But I know that these two carbs are way different, Just be sure to set it up in a way that the cable is tight and you get full movement for the linkage, otherwise you will either never hit WOT or, like in my case at first, never fully close the throttle, which made cold starting a pain cause the accelerator pump never actuated.

You can buy the throttle cable bracket from Racing Beat for $18 plus shipping. I made mine from a long stand off bracket, and attached it to the intake with a longer bolt.

My Weber's manifold did have a bracket on it, but the previous owner broke it when trying to remove the manifold with a mallet.

So I had to make one.
