Choke...

Circled is the choke mechanism, right? The triangular thing is on the right.

Removing the shaft will disable this, but should I remove the choke or anything, or sjust leave it how it is?

you remove all of that...Looks much cleaner. That trangular thing is for the throttle return spring i believe... If it had a spring on it before, your going to need to put it back. The rest can come off

Last questions...

OK... I removed the stuff circled in red. The green are where I have questions...

The thing on the left, circled in green. What do I do with that?

And the small green circles... did you pulg those holes from the shaft? I was thinking maybe I don't need to. I put a bolt in the hole on the right side.

Ok, never mind the first Q's. You answered them. The white plastic thing on the left... what should I do with that? It seems that iff I just left it like it is, there would be air comming out of the nipple things when the (removed) butterflies would normally function.

Only the green-circled thing far left. Connects to vac hoses which connect to triangular thing which controls the butterflies that I removed.

That plastic thing with the vacum lines, all comes out. There shouldn't be any leaks when you remove it. In the end your throttle body will not have basically anything connected to it.

Sounds good. Now I just have to find some nucleic acid to loosen the bolt enough for me to unscrew it!

I let mine sit in a tub of diesel fuel for a week. Those machine screws came out without to much fuss. Piece of cake ifyou let a lube work on them for a while.

I used WD-40, liquid wrench, and liquid wrench super penetrating over and over again. Although I didn't try scott free because I don't have any. Scott Free rocks.

By the way, anyone like the icon for this thread? woohoo!
