What did you have to do to make them fit? Just get the top of the shaft turned down a little bit? Anything else I need to get done?

yup, got to bring it to machine shop to reduce the size (cant remember the size tho). I used a blob of bearing grease to keep the bearings in place (between the GC spring cover and the camber plate).

I did that too. But the better option is to get the next size up pillow ball and use a bushing. I believe Ground Control has this stuff.

well if u want to go even wilder, u can run 85-86 mr2 rear shocks. it will fit in out spindles and is the correct diameter for gc camber plate. its a 5/8's i believe.

i came across this on the mazdatrix website. their "race" illumina for fb's are 85-86 mr2 rear shock and they say it can bolt up to their 5/8in diameter camber plate. i added 1+1 and that turned out to be (MR)2. i have never tried it myself; i wish i have but i have no money at the moment.

if u dont believe me u can figure it out yourself too.
