2. more use of aluminum (i.e. air cond. brackett, suspension pieces (control arms))
3. rear strut tower brace

my racingbeat/apexi hybrid exhaust sounded great,

untill the shitty pipe that the exhaust place used EXPLODED on a shift.

i went to them with thes two pipes and the collector (that THEY MADE) spread out like a flower.

they guy was like, "what the hell is that?"

didnt get my $220 back that it cost to make that part either.

*******.

I would like to see APEXi exhaust for first gens.

there systems sound great on 2nd and 3rd gens

With zero fender gap you risk slicing open your tire if you corner while the suspension is flexed. The gap is there for clearance, not looks.

But once rolled you have the gap again - unless you mean just enough to take the edge off... in which case you still get scuffing on the tire and a possible folded fender should the car hit a hard enough bump while cornering.

Nah, we roll the fender lips on the racecar. Even with 13x7 wheels with 4"bs no rubbing at all, and we take corners HARD. OF course we run over 2* neg camber so YMMV.

HID none flip up headlight conversion. I thought that I saw something just like it about a year ago on ebay, but now I can't find anything on it. This would replace the entire headlight assembly. Like this car posted at ebay, only first gen. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

That is a 1200 dollar HID kit. I don't think anybody wants a 1200 light kit, but of course that's just me.

-How about Mazda makes more rotary engines so I can find a cheap RENESIS? Why? Shelling out $2000 for a 100hp 12a = bad deal.
-More wheels for 12A cars
-Modern stereo replacements that look stock-ish
-Bolt on SMOG LEGAL forced induction. Or is that wishful thinking?

I think most of my complaints are with cost, but then again, I'm in school.

Oh yeah. A cupholder wouldn't be too shabby.

yeah, that's kinda what I figured. It would be pretty cool though.

dude, more wheels for 12a cars. Do you have to get some spacers or something? I have a 12a car, and I am wanting to put some 17s on it

I always felt like half the beauty of our cars was that there is such a limited supply of aftermarket parts so we're forced to custom/ do it yourself everything. Things like mass produced cup holders and other interior parts would take away from that.

I would still like to see a TII tranny mount. It wouldnt even be more then the 12a to 13b mount, which is like $50 if I remember correctly.

and maybe a conversion driveshaft made available from Mazdatrix or something, that would be sweet.

Also, The 3 in Turbo-back exhaust I am building could be duplicated fairly easily. I would be able to sell them for around $650 shipped. 100% stainless turbo to tip. Magnaflow mufflers, no hangers would be available due to model changes. It has a V band, and could be fitted to most systems easily.
