are these springs too short?

ive got an isc racing adjustable spring perch, and i think the spring may be drastically too short.

here is a pic of it next to a RB spring and what i presume to be a stock spring, and then a tire iron for refference.

The springs on mine are really short too. This is to allow height adjustment with the collars. Can't see the pictures from work, but I'd assume yours are the same as mine....

Yeah, just fill her up with motor oil, coolant, ATF, lard, whatever you have handy.

Your blue spring seems really short. I have the same isc kit and I bought the springs from them, they are like 3/4 of the height of your stock spring.

And not just cooling. It also puts the strut insert into hydraulic lock so it isn't going to rattle. It's super-handy if you use MR2 inserts or something similar down the road.

Those look identical to mine. I run mine at the highest setting right now, and they are still a bit low compared to the front which is on RB springs. I'll leave them at that setting until I put the coilovers in, then might go a bit lower but not much.

What do you guys think of the ride in the rear?

With my current set-up: Illuminas, B&G springs(1.4" drop), it is a little rough in the rear, even on 2's.

How would you compare your setup with others you may have previously used?

A fairly rough ride with the Bilsteins I've got back there now, but the handling makes it all worthwhile.
