Thermostat size

Could someone please tell me the dimensions of the factory thermostat of a `82 Rx7 ?

My car doesnt have one,so i dont have a sample !

go to your local auto parts store and buy one... there like 7 bucks...

South Africa...

We dont have off the shelve parts here!Havent had any new parts here for the last 5 years!

Is there a Mazda dealer there anywhere? You should only use a Mazda thermostat in a rotary. Small/cheap insurance policy

Yip,we do have Mazda dealers here.The prices are very expensive though,and there is mostly a 6-10 week waiting time for the parts to arrive from Japan.

Gregs said that it costs $7....over here..if i convert it..it will be equal to $250 !!!!

I`am planning to use a factory thermostat,the problem is that i cant show a sample to the Auto store!

The Rx7`s parts arent listed anymore...its too old. :-(

HELP !!!!!
