thermostat
185.
Stock.
The only reason I didn't do the autozone one ($6.99), even though it's made better than the rip off Mazda ones ($25.99; I recycled an old Mazda one of mine).
If the engine runs too cool it will affect your performance and gas mileage.
For some strange reason autozone doesn't make the 185 degree thermostat.

I'm running 160 degree on a FI motor and have no issues with performance. It runs great under hard loads and stays at the 1/4 mark all the time.
I would recommend a 180 and a good rad to be on the good side.

What is it that you need help with? We can tell you how to do most everything over this message. I say this because I have no time for myself much less to help, and with fuel being $3.99 a gallon Im not doing much driving at all.
