I have an 85 GSL-Se........
I would like to put an aftermarket exaust setup..........to free up some ponies............But I want to say smog legal......I am in California..........

Stock is smog legal.... don't think anything else is.
I think our smog laws here suck but then I remember that at least we don't have to pass a visual test!
They just put a mirror under the car to look for a converter, most of the time they don't even do that. (They said my '80 was equipped with a converter
)

Thats a good question, Me too. but anything performance will be " for racing or off road use only "
here in california,,I would love just a few more HP, and
still pass smog..check this out,,I'm wondering if the 12a
can be ported some, and still retain all the stock intake/
exhuast/and smog crap. ?? I understand more fuel in
and out makes more power. but does the stock size
12a ports use up every bit what the nikki, and exhuast
can flow ??? stock ..??? does that make sense ??
