Cool thanks, but now need more help

Hi, i want to say thanks for those who helped me with the driveshaft decsion. It was indeed the driveshaft and i am very very happy.
Now i have a few more questions...
First off im going to try to get my car inspected soon so i am doing little things, i already changed tha oil, so now im gonna tune it up..
I was wondering what you guys think are the best
-spark plugs
-plug cables
-distributor cap
-distributor rotor
-and what kinda gear oil???

Also, lets say it doesnt pass emissions,I live in Texas, Denton County, part of the Metroplex area. I doubt it will pass..but its worth a shot. But n e ways, I was wondering about my exhaust, it is the original, yea its older than me... I have an 85gsl se and I was getting a RB exhaust, since rotaryperformance is only like an hour away. But about the exhaust i was thinking of getting the hi-flow catback and powerpulse muffler of RB. I was wondering if i would pass emissions here or not..and also i didnt know if this would give me a substantial power gain. Are there any other sugestions on the exhaust? Because i need to pass emissions so it is either the hif-flow cat or the catilytic converter, which is more expensive and less of an hp gain. or so i think. Another thing is Before i changed my drive shaft i would only top out at 90, i havent tried to top out again but do u think that had anything to do with it?? Thanks for any questions awnsered!!!!

I've been running cheap AC's plugs, they work as well as the NGK's I had. They burnup, Auto store replace them for free. The best thing to do is buy an Electronic Ignition. Such as MSD. That solves a lot of problems I would think, check it out. By the way, there about $300 bucks. Someday my toy will have one.

go to NGK's like yesterday. read the thread about using autolites. they destroyed an engine. i have used a bosch cap and rotor without problems. just as easy to buy them from mazdatrix and get mazda parts. i wouls also use NGK wires only. the best it gets for reliable tune-up parts.

That would be alright, and should pass emissions, as long as everything else is operating properly, including air pump, ACV, etc.

You'll have a slight hp gain from that setup compared to stock.

Factory cap and rotor is best. Wires: NGK and RB ones are good.
