Temp sensor

Where is the temp sensor ? 1985 12A and how much of a pain is it to fix the turn indicators in the steering wheel? thanks Bob

See the beehive? Look down below it onthe rear plate. There will be a big cadmium plated mushroom shaped object. This is your oil pressure sender. Just to the left of it at the very edge of the rear plate next to the rotor housing is the water temp sensor. It is small, brass with a bullet connector. Often there will be green or brown plastic as the insulator but is usually covered in oil. There will be hoses and stuff in your way so get a good flashlight or something.
