Tearing her apart one more time

Well like the title says, im taking the 79 SA back apart but this time its for cosmetics not mechanical. I finally decided to take it down so i can do the long awaited body work. I knew i had some problem areas but man i found some things i did not want to find. The car sat for 18 years blown up and grass growing through her. the grass grew up under the front end and held moisture in the fenders and lower panels. The seam where the fenders meet the lower panels under the bumper are really rusted, i think i am going to have to weld so strips to reinforce the panels seams. Also the areas the bumper mounts to the car are in bad shape, but there is no structure damage. So far i have the front valance, bumper, lower panels, mirrors, wiper cover and the hood off the car. i plan on sand blasting and wire brushing as much as i can and possibly coating some areas with POR 15. Has any one had any luck with POR 15?? well all i have left to take out are the tail lights, rear bumper, trim and moldings, then the rest is the hard work. it will probably take a LONG time to complete but will be well worth it. ill take some photos along the way. Any one have any suggestions on a type of paint, primer, body filler????? thanks robert
