Tank vent for EFI swap

When swapping a first gen rx7 to EFI what do you do to vent the gas tank? Vented cap won't fit. It will fit but can't close the door. Was using stock line just vented to atmosphere.

You already have the vent line to the charcoal can. Can't you keep that?

I swapped a GSL-SE engine into my 85 GS and I use the stock fuel system and non vented cap. It works perfectly.

It's a good question, because there's nowhere in the rear of the car you can run a vent line that's above the gas tank and not in the cabin. Hell even if the fuel cap leaks vapor it will end up in the cabin since it's not really sealed very well between those two points.

I ran mine to the engine bay with a roll over valve from summit. Need to convert to a canister. Wish I had the stock setup still.

I'm running the OEM vent line with a rollover valve in my turbo car, and it works fine. If you just remove the gas cap, you can confirm that the vent line isn't the problem.

Thats what I thought. I just wanted to confirm thats not my problem. Because everyone is saying that my problem has to do with fuel supply. I've been driving around got two years with this set up and 6months ago started getting bad hesitation on acceleration. But everyone thats looked at the logs on the ECU say everything is normal it's a fuel supply problem. Ive replaced the pump 044 Bosch (it's real not knock off) . Gone through the whole car twice. Rewired everything to ECU with new harness. I think it's the coils. ( Four Ign-1a)
