Can't wait to see the new vids you are cooking up. I just wanna confirm something, the KAAZ you are talking about is the one made for the miata that fits in our cars that people have talked about right? I'm building a T2 powered FB, and don't really wanna go the usual ford 8.8 route, would much rather just beef up the stock parts.

Here is where he listed the engine mods That way yall can stop hounding the man and he can get back to drifting

"
Both the FB and SA run ground control coilovers camber caster plates. Both are running a kaaz 1.5 lsd, w/ mazda comp 4.44 gears. Full cage from Kirk Racing.
My SA has a 89' Tll engine w/ a 8lb flywheel act clutch, n/a trans. Running microtech fuel only computer w/ a 12a turbo dist. I am currently putting 230whp and 200lbs to the wheels on 8lbs.

The FB also has 89' block but has gsl-se rotors, 9lb flywheel, act clutch, Tll trans. Motec ecm. This setup was good for 340whp at 12lbs, 290lbs. That car is damn carzy to drive, you get tunnel vision everything is moving so fast.

I Also added moser axles, 3inch aluminum driveshaft(w/ 1ton chevy u joints) , that really made my drivetrain more reliable, clutch kick after clutch kick.

Yes the kaaz is a miata 1.8 diff from kaaz usa. I personally wouldnt run a drag slick with that combo. As for miles its more like how many hammer-fist hours and I dont really keep track of those. Its kind of a taboo subject with us. The black 85 has 3mm ianetti ceramic seals in gslse rotors & 89 streetported block. They are dedicated drift cars not daily driven.

Respect!!!! Keep us posted when you have some new vids. i couldn;t download them to my PC so i put the link in my favorites, hope the link stays for a long time

I'm new to the Rotary world and just sold my 500bhp Honda Prelude and bought a European 1984 RX-7. I did some tests and i don;t seem to have LSD . What Diff setup is best for my car?? I want to do some weekend Dragracing(Rare in the Netherlands, Europe), and i do drive the car frequently but not really daily. Possibility to drift a little has to be there as well.

Going for a 13b REW swap.

Keep up the good work.

Careful, that doesn't always matter. I've gotten a ticket for Reckless Driving for sliding around private property.

Yes indeed. It's my aunt's shop. The officer claimed it's illegal no matter what to drive like that. Which wouldn't make sence, ie; racetracks. You don't see cops flying around the track after them. But maybe I just got a jerk of a cop. Either way, it happens. So just look out.

I use to drive the red car daily before I turned into a drift car. It took big flick to step it out, rain sliding the car made it alot easier. As for use tires go around any tire shop or car dealer and dig through the use tire pile. I started out sliding on any tire i could find. I prefer to slide on falken RT-615's or 512's, they have the some really good traction through out slide, from cold to hot they stay consistant.
Living in atlanta the police tend to leave us alone, they have better things to be dealing w/ then some guys burning tires in this city. Thanks for the feed back
