I have a friend who is going to give me all the rear plasic parts from his 83 and I want to know if they will fit in my 85 GSL. I searched for a while, and all I really found was differences from 79-80. I know the dash, door panels, center console.

Im going to start converting my interior to black, and dont want to dye everything, so thats why I ask if this stuff will fit my car, because it's black from the factory.

I hope you get some responses as I am interested to hear what is said. I have an 85 interior including dash I want to install in an 83. Although I have not started interior work yet it seems like most of the interior parts are compatable. i.e., they look the same.

 

I will be keeping my 85 dash. I will just by dying it, following the steps writen by $100T2. But if I can use 81-83 bins, rear plastic instead of dying that, I will.

I've had one 83 that I parted out, all the others have been S3s, but I think most of the hatch parts are the same or interchangeable. Biggest differences between the S2s and S3s are the dash, door panels, fabric and colors. Everything should be a direct swap except the dash.
