Take a guess
I have a Gsl-se with some electrical issues it melted my( + ) metal terminal . I replaced it with a brass one and a new alt. New battery. Still no start I only get about 8-10 volts on the dash( my cheap muti-meter reads 12v @ the battery post, alternator, coils, main fuses). I believe it might be a open circut. What do you guys think?
Ima check the starter and might change the battery cables next. Nothing appears to be burned no relays or fuses.. The lights, cluster, overall components work well. If I change the battery cables were do I ground them? If IRCC ive heard to ground the battery to the engine&body and the ecu to the chassis. Can anyone comfirm or correct me if thats wrong?

HOWEVER, if you are only getting 10v from the battery, it's either discharged now or you have a bad ground preventing the panel from reading properly. Even cheap multimeters are pretty reliable within a few tenths of a volt.
