Taillight Lenses and other NLA parts

I am thinking about offering taillight lenses since they are no longer available and hard to find used, would there be interest in this? I would need 10 to 20 people interested and do a preorder.

I am also working on providing some new wheel options in 4x110, would anyone be interested in that as well?

To be clear, are these the colored lenses, the outter lenses or both? I'd be interested at the right price point, as well. Are you solving for the rubber seal surrounds, too?

Definitely interested, in both! Would the lenses be identical replicas to OEM? I second the question about the gaskets.

What wheel mfgs. are you working with for 4x110 options? Would love to see some Enkei 92s or Compes in our bolt pattern.

Thanks for the responses, I would start with FB lenses since I dont have an SA. I am probably going to get them resin cast so they are clear. I can do both the clear and the colored ones. I will start with 3D printing some samples.

if I can get some parts from someone I can see what I can do!

Also not so great news on the taillight lenses, casting molds are going to be over $1000 with no guarantee that they will come out good since the part is so large. I am going to look at 3D printing or injection molding

yeah, that's a bit steep. I'd be comfortable with half that amount.
I wasn't aware of them when they were available but Pac Performance sold them for $400 USD.

I just had a thought that there should be screw holes or something that allows them to be mechanically fastened since mine fell off when the "glue" let go out on the road.

I will try to get them to $400 for a pair, adding screw holes would not be a problem, I used silicone the last time I attached one and it fell off when I tapped the wall drifting so a mechanical fastener would be nice.

Did anything ever happen with the plan to 3D print taillights? My brother finally bought back (after 20+ yrs) his 1984 RX-7 from a friend. During the first week, he got rear-ended! I would love to get him a new driver side taillight.

Hello freeskier,
I am absolutely interested in obtaining tail light lenses for left and right side. Place my order. I was getting ready to have some custom made. Mine are in OK condition except that there seems to be internal cracking and they look frazled, some nicks are present but want new ones.

Do you know the dimensions? Is the issue with getting them relined or just needing a complete new drum. I am talking to a relining company.
