Tail light conversions

I was looking a while back about tail light conversions and found a really good one but I don't remember where I saw it. I did a search but couldn't find anything. All I really remember is the new tail lights where from an Acura? Maybe Integra? I remember they were clear and there wasn't much work to do the mod. Anyone else see or heard of anything like it? Pictures?
Thanks

just so i dont look like a complete jackass. im sure you could take it to any other body shop that can do custom lights. where ever the other guys get their head light and tail light conversions done, im sure most body shops will do it, but i may be wrong...

not that i agree with this AT ALL..

Its actually impressive fab work. It's just sad to see after buying all that bondo, he could only afford $40.00 taillights, and a $99 wing.

wow, i can't believe you guys. stuff like this nearly makes me want to stop contributing to these boards.

I've been following this man's work for several years. He has come up with what is probably one of the worlds most original FB widebodies. He knows more about CUSTOMIZATION and BODY WORK than all of you COMBINED, i will GURANTEE that.

Perhaps you are talking about my custom clear tail light mod, which can be found on my cardomain site. It is not all that easy tho, i'd rate it 7 to 8 out of 10 difficulty factor, if you're not used to stuff like this.

IIRC, he also has a car domain page that shows the progression of his work. BTW, there is alot of bondo on that car.

I like the work done for the bodywork, but I think the clear taillights take away from the car. IMO the car looks excellent, it just needs a different set of taillights.

Why are all these posts getting edited with a link to the rules? We're all entitled to our own opinion, i simply said his taste was bad in the car, but praised his bodywork.

This thread was a plea for info, not opinions. If you read the rules guys, you'll see why I did it. I will NOT tolerate flaming, and I will stop it in its tracks. This is a perfect example of why I wrote specific rules. Yes you are entitles to your opinions of course. Spouting how lame you may think this car looks when the thread starter was merely looking for info about it isint helping or wanted. Feel like bashing this car? Make a lounge thread and bash away (Errors gonna kill me for that ) We all have different tastes. Playing "rice", or "fashion" cop isint your job. I'm personally ashamed that you guys would do this. We're supposed to be a "club" "family". If you have even the ugliest POS 1st gen, you should be welcomed with open arms as a fellow borther/sister. Not criticized and flamed and made to fell unworthy, stupid, lame because your tastes differ from someone elses. Feel like being an elitist *****? Go elsewhere, as that isint welcomed here.
