Tachometer Fitment/Caliberation?!?

I have a s1 Rx7 with a 12a bridgeport and an autometer Tach to put in it. Do I run the green(signal input) wire to negative on leading or trailing coil?? Also it wont read accurately. The tach has wire loops on the back for caliberating different engines i.e 4, 6, 8 cyl but has no mention of rotary engines?!? What should I set it to??

Thanks.

You should set it to 4 cyl. So cut all the wires.

And hook the signal wire to your trailing coil.

Have fun.

It will also work on the leading. For what it's worth the factory tach was on leading on S1.

I also drool at the thought of a S1 with a 12A bridgey
