*not meaning to thread jack* post pics up with the RX8 seats in if you have any.
One of each...

(I need an airbag cover on the Driver's seat.)
Although the TII can use your stock FB slider rails and bolt right in, if your interested, Stu has the best write up for mounting the RX8 seats here:

T2 seats are nice cause they hug you.... but if you plan to change seats i would think about something much less in weight
unless of course you already have these seats

only as easy as your welding skills allow. hahaha, gotta make your own seat brackets. it's actually not that hard at all. if you don't have a welder, then a shop could do it no problem. brides are amazing, but very expensive unless you find a good deal on used ones ( like my friend did). sparco, corbeau, recaro, etc.... all are very awesome brands and each have their own selection of lightweight or heavy (more comfort related) seats.
also, you guys that think TII seats are lite weight..... you need to pick up a real racing seat.

TII seats are far from light weight. They are heavy as hell. But they hold like a mother, and they are almost a direct bolt in(I had to swap one of the seat rails on the driver's side). It is all in what you are looking for. If you are going entirely for a light weight, but more rough racing seat then start looking for a fiberglass or cf seats from companies like corbeau, sparco, etc. If you want a comfortable, easy swap, for seats that hold really well then I would go with the TII seats. That is what I did and I have absolutely no regrets. But then again I was never looking to shed a few pounds at the expense of price and comfort. It is a daily driver during the summer, not a track car.
i put some s5 vert seats in the 79 and boy are they comfy. i just put in some tii cloth seats into my 86 gxl tis weekend and they were much lighter (feels extremely better) then my stock ones. my stocks were ugly to begin with and had seat covers on them when i bought my car. i had a leather seat which wasn't the tii kind and THAT was heavy. i never bothered to check if the leather seats in my TII is heavy. i'll just take your word for it since my non-tii leather seats were already heavy as heck.
