Interesting, might have to give you folks a call later on this summer, though I would worry about all the water that would run into my motor from that. hmm decisions decisions.

why would you mold a tII scoop onto a gxl hood? you could probably find a tII hood for less, and put that on..since all of the second gen hoods are the same (as far as i know)

scoop

the hole size is up to you, cut the entire space beneath or just a little space. As for why a gxl, ever tried to buy a t2 hood?? $$$$$ also you can switch the scoop around to face the windshield this way and get a higher pressure air zone. As for grafting, you can cut hole and place over top of hood or go from underneath, they just came from the molds his week so we do not have a grafted one....yet. As for other fiber glass 1st gen items, whale tails, and wide body kits are available. If you guys desire something else let me know we will make it. ciao

Thats pretty ******* cool, man . I was thinking,,,
on an 82, the whole center console/surround. where
the stereo and ashtray, cig lighter go, but make it a blank, the a/c controls in tact. from the clock up to
the a/c control logicom nothing/ blank. how about engine cocoons. you know thats the latest trend, to hide the engine. dip stick, oil filler, like the NEW cars.
it's an idea ! IMO.

I hate how the new cars want to 'cover' the engiens..I personally think it willkeep in heat...and I didnt spray 5 nice thick coats on my engine and polish the aluminum to be coverd..

GIven the pressure area along the hoods of our cars, it will draw air from under the hood not ram it in. The 2nd gen, having completely different angles to the bumper, has different pressure areas along the hood
