Question T-II engine and tranny in 84 GS model ?

my cousin wants to drop a 13bt into his Fb...the problem is we arent too sure if the engine will fit in...sure enough the engine will fit...but what motor mounts would we need ? Is it a totally different mount ?or would it fit in just like a 12a ? and besides the engine mounting, we would also need a rear end, i was told that a couple of guys on this site have a ford rear end...m not too sure what size,,....but please if anyone has any useful info of any kind.....please reply to this post....

Well there are a couple write ups on here about the 13bt swap. i've never done it so i dont know but on the 1st gen faqs page it has a link to one of the write ups.

Also as for the rear end you could swap one in from a GSL-SE. Not sure about the Ford rear end but hopefully somebody on the forum with more inf owill help you.

For mounting, use a 13B front cover from a GSL-SE. Keep in mind that you will have to use a mech. OPM. You have to do some custom work to use a S5 electric OMP on that front cover.

Blockoff the omp and go with premix. Much easier!!!
