Fuel Presure drop?
I normaly seach these things out but i keep hiting proxy error.
I have a 79 with a RB Holley set up, and a newly installed Holley blue pump.
I am wondering if I have a install error or something else. I lose fuel to the pump causing presure drops until the pump scavenges more. I just replaced the pump as the old universal Autozone was having the same problems but had the trouble keeping 6 psi when it did have fuel.
The pump is mounted even if not lower than the tank "Autozone special was in the stock location", with a fuel filter before it, the fuel filter has no debris in it "clear plastic", and I ran a wire down the pickup tube to check for blockage but it was clear as well, and it has all new hoses.
Right now both the vent and return are plug/blocked off, is this correct. Is there something else im missing, forgot. The tank is not rusty "Arizona car".
Any insight would help.
