synthetic ?

Hey,

is it ok to use synthetic oil if you have removed the OMP and are running premix?

Anyone doing this? What synthetic is good?

I have put 26,000 miles on my car since I have bought it.
I Still have the OMP hooked up, and run 8 oz of Pre-mix. I have Run Redline synthetic, 10w-30 since the day I bought it.
The car even with a straight pipe exhaust blows very little smoke, and still runs like a top.
I run and will run Redline in all my cars. its pricey, but I really think its worth it.

In my AutoX beater '82 I have removed the OMP and run Mobil 1 15W-50 synthetic and have had no problems.

I ran mobil one 15/50 in my 82 GSL w/streeport 13b. Over 60k on the engine when I sold it. Those were NOT freeway miles. The car still ran great.
