Synchros and bearings

Hey y'all,

I have an early SA22. Are the syncros and bearings the same as other gen 1 cars?

Might be some interchangeability Herb - and maybe someone here can say definitively, otherwise, get the FB and SA parts PDFs downloaded (avai I think from Sgt Fox here, among others) and start comparing part numbers - best way to be sure. plus you'll have the PN info needed to order them.

the bearing part numbers change a lot thru the years, but are basically the same from the SA to the new miata 5 speeds.

the syncros change a lot over the years but the 79-82 transmissions are substantially the same inside.
