Swap a 83 manual rx-7 carb for a 82 automatic carb?

Hi,

I was just wondering are these that same carb, do they just swap right over??

I have a 82 parts car with a Automatic and was wondering if I could you the carb for my 83, are they the same????

A cant imagine then being different unless there is some differences in terms of emissions...

Check the Carb manual and FSM, you can find it in Trocoids profile

From: Trying to convince some clown not to put a Holley 600 on his 12a.
There should be no problem, as long as your capping & blocking everything.
You'll have a hard time getting it all hooked up to pass a sniffer test, though.

I don't need to worry about emmisions but I will be pluging everything back in the way it was just wanted to make sure they are the same
