going off of the tranny thing... if the transmission isn't the source of the problem, i have a few choices... i have an se rearend sitting at home, but no front end or brake booster or whatever... but i did find something cool the other day... i was touring the local junkyard when i came across an 83 gsl w/ lsd... yay! i have an updated front suspension from an 84 gs with the nicer brakes, and i was thinking maybe i could try and transplant the gsl rear end onto my 79 and be happy... (i like those waffle wheels!) is there really a huge difference between gsl lsd and se lsd? do 2000 lb cars really need 11" rear brakes? just a thought
