Low end, high end, or both

me and some piston bastards were argueing the other day, he said that my car is designed for high end torque only, i said well for high end torque, it sure kicks the hell outta all your cars in the 0-60. What would all of you calssify it as?

They mean engine speed (RPM) not vehicle speed (MPH) when refering to high end. Yes they blaze through the 0-60. Seems to blaze through 60-90 too. Haven't gone much beyond that yet. (New car, still figuring it out)

As to the Torque curve it maxes out at about 5K on the tac as I recall. That would be mid range IMO. Most passenger cars and trucks seem to max torque curves between 3-5k. Performance cars run up from there, the higher ones topping out around 8K, but they have 10K red lines.

Heavens knows that there are others far more qualified than me to answer these questions though.

stock port rotaries are have midrange peak torque. when you start porting them the torque band moves higher and higher.
