Question Surge tank arrangement in blowthrough

I am thinking of plumbing a surge tank for my blowthrough to eliminate the fuel starvation I get when the tank gets closer to 1/4 tank to empty.

What i have currently - 3/8" fuel line to a aeromotive 20psi pump up to a Rising Rate regulator and fed back to the fuel tank with 1/2 inch fuel line all the way to the fuel tank. I welded in larger then stock tubing for a 12a fuel tank to acomidate turbo flow needs.

What I am looking for is how others have plumb'd theres for their Blow through setups- NOT for an EFI setup- I have seen a lot of those in the search on this forum. I usually keep the tank over 1/2 tank that keeps the starving from occuring, and that is only a "half fix".

My thinking is I do not need a large volume surge tank, just one that hold enough fuel till the fuel slosh catches up, just place it below the fuel tank so that it would normally be a gravity fed item placed between the fuel tank and fuel pump.

Let me here some thoughts and replies.

I don't see how the arrangement would be much different to an injected setup. I wouldn't rely on the tank being gravity fed unless you only plan on being at WOT for very short periods of time. Ideally, the pre-pump should flow in excess of the engines total fuel requirements so that the tank is always full.
