how complicated is it to put the engine back together
i have a haynes manual, but no expirience
what is involved with putting the engine back together?
is it so complicated i would do it wrong? what if i had all the time in the world?

If you rebuild a rotary engine for the first time, this is a must ---> http://www.atkinsrotary.com/store/cu...id=16771&cat=0 My brother just rebuilt his 13b with this video, but im pretty sure that it wont be much different than a 12a. (right?) Anyways, it wont even take that long if you get all the necessary parts and tools and you do have some time and organization skills. One thing that my brother learned through rebuilding his engine is that organization is key. Make up some sort of method of labeling and placing things where they wont get lost or broken. This will save you LOTS of time when you go to put your engine back in. My brother lost a few parts here and there and broke a couple while he was rebuilding. Oh, one more thing, get it streetported if you pull it.
Actually, i think that having it disassembled could either make it easier, or harder. It should make it easier it seems tho, i just hope to hell that you get ALL the pieces to the engine. Otherwise, assembly will be quite difficult and frustrating
. Also, the video does a really nice job with showing disassembly and assembly, so i think that you would be alright.
