Supertrapp? Any users?

The supertrapp mufflers with the open cap look pretty darn cool. I dont have any problem with loudness... and these look nice. Has anyone tried these, if so whats the Best idea. They wont burn out since theyr steel, and if so they are cheap discs to replace. I dont want a bunch of people telling me to jsut get RB exhaust becuase those are too frikin expensive and these look like they give more HP. If your gonna tell me to use a RB muffler please provide dyno or true info.

Buy the RB muffler, and stick a potato in it. Then, jam it in there really good, and put the rest of the sack in it. You will undoutedly still have 5 more HP than if you use a Supertrapp.

Sorry, no "dyno" info, just race results. The Supertrapp is about the worst thing you can do. I think I remember you're putting an RB header on, right? Get yourself a presilencer and a Flowmaster exhaust. The Flowmaster will sound cool, and the presilencer will quiet it down a little. If this is for a racecar, then don't put a presilencer in it.

It's been covered before here:

Supertrapp's new high temp packing works well. The older stuff did burn out, but you just replace it with dense, coarse stainless steel wool for a few bucks.

The discs generally don't damaged or fall apart. It's the packing inside but like i said above the new packing works well.
