Superchargers
I know about the Atkins/Camden superchargers, but they are extremely expensive. I want to keep my Racing Beat Exhaust System that is on my 1985 rx-7 GS, but I want more power!!!!! Does anyone/has anyone ever added a supercharger to their rx-7? Is it worth it? Which other companies make them that I could use? Thanks for your time.

I hear that rotories and superchargers don't mix well, they have a problem with overboost because rotories wrap up so high and you'd have to run it to an intercooler because of the heat they produce... but this is just what i've heard, i'm wanting to supercharge mine too so when or if you get this done, do a write up and post it

Would an Eaton, Paxon, etc. work? Which size would I need. Finally, if I go with the Camden supercharger, can I still use my Nikki and my Racing Beat Exhaust?

not to be rude, but would a Paxon work? Also, would I have to get a new carb or could I use the nikki? If the nikki is an option, what would I need to modify in it? Thanks

you would be able to use the $$ difference on a nice side draft and some shocks/springs

With a baby due in three weeks, my spring fever this year has been compounded by having to get the house ready. I have'nt even had a chance to even start on the plenum.
Once Baby is born and things settle down a bit, I'll start doing up a Nikki "Special" just for me. My business schedule will get more hectic with trips to shows up and down the NE, and Carl and I are trying to get a carb business moving, as well.
I've already vowed that I'll be on the verge of insanity if I don't get my Eaton project completed this season. I bought a milling machine to do this! (and had to have a 220 line installed) Sadly, it sits there collecting dust along with the Southbend lathe.
I'm gonna lay low about it cept to say that , "Yes, I am gonna do this!".
