Does anyone have photos of nikki carb from a 1982 RX7.

I have mine in parts at the moment and the diagrams I have seem to be leading me in the wrong direction when it comes to reassembling the carb.

As it turns out, I should have left well enough alone!

I just uploaded forty five pictures that I took when I disassembled my 82's Nikki carb. As you'll see, mine was a mess. I soaked it in carb cleaner for a couple of days and used a Dremel tool to remove the rust. It cleaned up pretty well and works great now. I bought the rebuild kit for it at Advance Auto for about $35.00. It's intimidating but well worth the effort. Hope the pics help. Here's the link. http://cobra.spintime.org/rx7carb/index.htm

Mine looked much the same before I took it apart. Unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough to take pics of it before dissasembling it. Sure am glad you were though! LOL
