supercharger on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1872080633

looks like quite a bargain this far in the auction. the guy had it on an 84 rx7, so you could probly talk him into including the mounting hardware. anyways just thought i would share.

Hmmm, I've never heard of a supercharger on a 1st gen. This could be interesting, especially if you can get the claimed power numbers just by adding the super.

well has anyone ever tried running a belt going to a pulley completely in the opposite direction of the supercharger with a tensioner to equal out the pull of the supercharger belt?

I've heard a few people say that, but I haven't seen any proof. I am planning on using a Camden Supercharger.

Also, does this alledged bending of the shaft occur only on rotaries, or on V engines as wheel?

I thought it was an extra $400 for the carb. It says the kit comes with the supercharger, manifold, pulleys, and belts.
