Super low seat rails and steering wheel hubs...where can I find them?
I've put a few hours in trying to locate super low seat rails to replace the stock seat rails. I can find rails to fit a 1986, but not a 1985. I'm too tall for my car (check my other post, she's a beauty). I also need a new steering wheel hub to fit a smaller after market steering wheel. So far, I've only located $70 moso hubs. Any other ideas for a cheaper hub? Thanks guys!

the FC rails will fit with a small bracket made for passenger side, the driver side will fit. If you are doing an aftermarket seat the best way to do it is to use your stock sliders. You can modify the seat parts and slider parts to work together fairly easily. if you search "rx8 seats" in the first gen section there is a few writups on how to do it.
Hubs are not cheap. My cheap one was the standard momo hub at about the same price you listed, but my short and quick release combo was near $200. All that to fit my mazdaspeed wheel.
You will hear this alot on herre but search is a good friend, I use it daily when researching projects. My family laughs at me asking if I am remaking a car, and of course the answer is yes, I am, minus the roof and glass the whole car will be changed dramatically.

Grant steering wheel hubs also work, I currently have a GT wheel on my car and while it works, sometimes it's a PITA due to the FBs long steering ratio. and while I would advise against modifying such a beautifully kept stock FB I also know your pain, I'm 6'7" and about 290lbs so I don't exactly slip right into an FB without looking a little funny

Do you know/have the part numbers for your hub? I've been wanting to get the NRG setup and their deepdish wheel for a while hopefully it will move the wheel closer to me and up away from my legs, and if I get a bucket seat, I'm gonna need all the room I can get to climb out.

If you're a taller guy ( I'm 6'2")you may want to consider a quick release or some sort of spacer in addition to a hub for your new steering wheel.
I got a standard size quick release (2.75") and a standard momo hub and it puts the wheel far enough back that I can have the seat further back and still reach the wheel comfortably and more importantly not hit my head on the roof anymore.

Broncoblitz thanks for the pic. I was thinking of adding a spacer to the momo hub instead of a qr. It will save some $$$ over a quick release, however it won't be as nice looking. Thanks
