Does look damn good man.I don't know what you can get out of a stock motor though.I got bored with the streetport and was wanting to go turbo 12a.Off-topic sorry,nice job.

I don't go back to school until January 19th, so I'm hoping to have the car running before then. Expect many pictures, and I'll probably even get a video or two of it to post. Then you'll really be able to get the feel for it. Stay tuned, because I'm hoping to have it in there very soon.

Honestly, what did you use to shine up that aluminum? Or is that silver paint? I'm looking forward to cleaning mine in the spring, and that looks good

I didn't polish it. I don't have that much perseverance. It is "cast coat aluminum" engine enamel. Just the regular old stuff you get at Autozone. It almost matches the color of the aluminum exactly. Good shortcut IMO....
