ON Sun Visor

I have a 1985 GSL-SE and have spent the past year or so getting it back into shape. I am ready to put it on the road, and so will need to pass safety. Apparently, in order to pass safety, among other things, I will need to have a driver side sun visor ( I currently have neither visors). The local dealer has told me that a single visor is $90, and he can no longer get them.

Does anyone either:

1) Live near Ottawa, Canada, and have a driver side sun visor they want to sell me? I don't care what colour or shape it is in as I will remove it as soon as I have passed the safety.

2) Happen to know what other sun visors from other cars will fit an 85 RX7? is the mounting point fairly universal?

Thanks

Tim

The visors changed a bit over the years as far as material, but I believe mounting-wise they are universal. I've actually got visors from an 83 in my 80, instant bolt up, two screws.

DivinDriver is right. They do all bolt right in just have a material change. So any first gen visor will work.

Thanks for the offers of assistance nofords and G-man! However, the good news was last night I was digging through some boxes in the garage and found both sun visors. The better news is that I had already convinced myself and the misses that I needed to spend $100 on sun visors to get the car safetied. By finding the sun visors, its really like I just found $100 that I can spend on something else for the car. Not sure she followed the logic but she didn't put up too much protest.

I'm going to lose parts more often. How hard is it to misplace an exhaust system?
