Question sun super tach

ok i know this is off forum but i have a sun super tach 2, its going in a truck but i dont know how. I have one black red white and green wire. what goes to what?

Ummm, lets see. IIRC, the red is positive power, black is ground, white is power for the light, and green is the ignition signal.

So which wire do you splice into under the dash, to get the tach signal?

(I need to connect my shift lite)
