i think it would be beneficial to everyone if the forum was a bit more branched out with sections. Say one for newbies (for the very generic questions and suggestions of what to do first once one has purchased a car), one for engine, one for body, exhaust, ignition, etc. I mean the search engine is great, but sometimes you don't get what you're looking for, because you searched for a phrase or a word, that occurs in a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with the problem you're trying to solve.

 

This is a great idea and club4ag.com had experimented (still is) with this thought. However, it is very difficult. Although it sounds simple enough. People still get things mixed up. Therefore someone might have posted something in the wrong section and no one will ever see it... thus more moderators are needed... then there are topics that deal with more than one thing and these can't be placed in 2 sections.
I agree that in a perfect world this idea would be the only way to go... unfortunately things are not all black and white.
